Shoes that don't make noise: did you ever think something so simple could drive you mad? You are strolling down the road in a great mood; the noises around you are muted, not interfering with your thoughts. Maybe you are daydreaming about your next trip abroad and where you would love to go.

Then suddenly, you hear someone walking toward you in the loudest shoes possible, and it completely ruins the moment. They are stomping along; you can't help but think, can they not hear it themselves? How is it not annoying them?!?!

The worst scenario is when you are alone, having a lovely stroll, and your shoes disrupt your thoughts when you realize they are a bit loud or something is wrong, making a squeaking noise.

If that happens at the beginning of your day and you are at work, you'll have to deal with it all day long, that can get to you, and it's hard to explain to someone with no sound sensitivity.
